bought this figure recently and noticed there is a circle on the right shoulder. I have no idea what should be painted there. from the box art you can only tell how to paint the design in the left shoulder.
Ideas ?

Rank comes to mind. Had a circle with a bar on it. I don't have a list of ranks from WWII, but might be on some WWII photos if you have any in reference books. Some had a square patch with rank on the mid , upper sleeve.
