OT, sort of

I was reading the other day about P-61, in preparation for doing a build, and saw that a Robert L. Scott shot down a plane in the China ops area. Does anybody know if this is the same guy from "God Is My Co-pilot" fame? That book ends with him going back to the states early in the war - no info beyond his Flying Tiger tales.

The P-61 driver was Robert R. Scott - different fellow entirely.
