They'd better hope that those Marine V/STOL F-35s pan out, or the two carriers don't have anything to fly off of them. That would be a mess that makes the old Skybolt ALBM cancellation look like a minor embarrassment.

Don't hold your breath. The UK government is looking for excuses to cancel these. Probably the first to go will be the F-35 and once that is gone, there will be no reason for carriers of this size.
Forgot all about the Malvinas, have they?
