I'd believe that old Buick lasted a long time. I traded mine in to a dealer in '68 for a '60 Dodge Dart (4-dr) that went to the yard early because I ran the crap out of it on the street. A fellow bought the Buick to use as a beater to get to and from work and it was still doing that 20 years later. And Dad's purpose in getting me into another car was to avoid the bills for keeping the Buick running... The one thing that sticks out in my mind was the steering wheel. I think you could put two of the little wheels from my Mustang inside the Buick's wheel. I kind of miss having a decent-sized wheel. My Buick was white with a mid-blue roof, for the record.
