Re: Eduard pre-painted 1/32 f-4e photo etch set - how is it?

It's a nice set, but the main issue with the set is trying to match the pre-painted grey of the instrument panels and other things in the set when you paint the remainder of the Tamiya tub.

I've seen these advertised; the 1/32 f-4e interior set in particular. > How are they? Are they convincing or a compromise b/w aesthetics and > ease of construction. Anyone used one? I used some of the prepainted bits in a 1/48 Spitfire recently. With care, the painted seatbelts can be positioned convincingly without damaging the paintwork. You do need to touch up the edges, though.

For the interior parts, usual color wash and drybrushing techniques blend the interior colors quite nicely, IMO.

I'd consider a set for my 1/32 F-4J.
