Revenge of the Sith model

A week ago Monday, I saw the movie again, and afterward stopped by Hobby Lobby to see what kits there were. Nothing, yet.

On a technicality, the Droid Starfighters from Episode One do show up again (I think Anakin calls them "Vultures"). I'd wanted to convert one to the little-known Walker Mode seen briefly at the beginning of Episode I and Episode III (the are perched on the badguy's ship before flying into battle).

Hurm... eight days on this little project. Yep, it takes me forever to get anything done.

Nicely done. Some larger photos would've been even better (wink.) In regards to your comment about the weight, it may not be unreasonable to assume the subject matter is made out of material other than steel, so it's weight may be much lower than you've estimated.

By my standard, that's considered "blindingly fast." Last project was a subject from Gundam (an anime subject,) 10+ years and on going... (blush)

Thanks! You think I should upgrade from my 0.15 Megapixel camera? But it's been so faithful these last 10 years! :)

Oh, yeah. I'm in the middle (have been in the middle) of one of those. Maybe next... no, I think I'll do one of my favorite scales (by number of kits bought) 1/2500...
