Roden SE5a

And the markings are: S.E.5A, E1295/A, No 74 Sqn RAF, Major Edward "Mick" Mannock, (73 victories), Northern France, July 1918. S.E.5A, C1904/Z, No 85 Sqn RAF, flown by Billy Bishop, (72 victories), Summer

1918, France. S.E.5A, D6856, No 84 Sqn RAF, Capt. A. Beauchamp-Proctor (54 victories), 1918.

Or, leave no cliche uncovered (maybe they used the Revellogram kit for marking tips.) One can only hope that AeroMaster or Eagle Strike take a look at the profiles in Alex Revell's book on 56 Squadron before they issue their one and only sheet.

Albert Ball flew the SE-5A (perhaps it was an SE-5) on his last mission; he was credited (rather dubiously) to LvR. I'm surprised those markings aren't one of the options.

Thanks for the reply and explanation of the differences Ball made to his SE-5. That certainly explains why his markings are not in the Roden kit.
