Russian Trawler (Spy-Ship) Model...???

Question

Who makes this plastic Kit , and what scale is it. I would like to get one does anyone out there have one they might want be willing to get rid of. About How long and how wide is the model when it's built up and is the detail pretty much Ok.

Carl, I believe it was Revell that originally produced it. I do notknow the scale, most likely box scale. I think Advent also boxed it andother Revell kits.

If this is the one I think it is, then I think it's one of the releases of the Revell North Sea Trawler kit

I had one as a kid in the mid 70s. IIRC the differences were in the boat layout c/f the regular trawler release

Code was H-379

Also sold under other brands I beleive, ship name of 'Volga'

Carl - As other have stated, Revell produced the "Russian Spy Trawler", but there WAS another one as well. In the late 1960s or early 1970s, Lindberg took their Shrimp Boat and reboxed it as a "Russian Spy Ship". Box art showed the shrimper rendezvouing with a Societ Alpha Class (?) sub. Nothing however, was changed inside the box. THat kit is roughly 1:72 or so. I got one a couple of years back to try to replicate the shrimper in "Forrest Gump" but got sidetracked (SOMEHOW). HTH,
