Those who supported Mr. Bush, usually post using their real names, and email addresses (or with addresses that can be easily ascertained.)

Those who supported Mr. Kerry, tend to post under aliases, and anonymity...

With a fellow of your obvious intellect, no clue would be plain enough.

I always wondered about this as well.

I mean, if these people believe soo passionatly in their cause, then why hide their true identities ?

But then Bush won, so it is of no matter for them anymore :)

The United States of America is *not* a democracy, it's a representative republic. And our voting system works exactly as the Founding Fathers intended it to.

But we are NOT a democracy, we ARE a representative republic, big difference.

We are, indeed, the pinnacle of democracy, Harro; thank you for mentioning it. I would assume by the wording of your comment that you are not an American citizen. If this is so, our system of voting has no bearing on you since you are not permitted to be a part of it. I'm not a citizen of your country and I have no concerns about its method of choosing its leaders. Why, then, would our voting process be of concern to you?
