Hello all. I just got a set of the new Italeri 101st Airborne figures in 1/72, a re-release of the old Esci set. The quality is excellent but the color referrence seems inaccurate. For one thing, Model Master Field Drab is called for on this set, and another set I already own (British Infantry). However, the color square shown for each is majorly different. I bought the Field Drab since it was called for by name and item # for the first set, but on the 101st uniforms it looks almost like a cream color. Since the exact same name and item number are given for both sets, I must assume an error was made on the color referrence for the new set. I'll compensate, but have another question. The jump boots shown for the
101st are shown as being a leather brown color. I've got "Band of Brothers" and their boots were black. Which is correct? I've not begun painting them yet, but feel despite the excellent quality of the figures the paint guide is flawed. Thanks as always for your input, and I look forward to hearing from someone on this. Regards,Randy IPMS Houston
