What's going on?

You missed the chance to swing into modelling monitors. ;D

Yeah, that's one that is in the must must must build pile. The C-121 is probably the most beautiful multi-engined aircraft ever built.

Now, if you want BIG go for an ID Models Lockheed C-5. You might want to add scale operating landing gear. :-)

Oh, have we got lots of big 1/72 kits for you...and don't keep them from the water. Where the heck else are you gonna land a 1/72 flying boat?

You're not too far from the truth! You know, it's scary... When the Trumpeter 1/24th Mustang came out, I had to have one. I ended up with two. Now, the F-105 in 1/32nd. I've got plenty of Revell 1/32nd kits, four Testors/Italeri C-130's in

1/48th... ...all the Monogram 1/48th multi engines - I'm working on their Hustler now. Can you see a pattern emerging? Yikes...

While I can't compete with Frank on quantity, I'm in the same boat. I'm struggling to find room for an Eduard 1/48th Sopwith Camel in the house, and yet in the model room in the shed outside there are the 1/24th Trumpeter P-51; Revell Hunter, Mirage, F-15 and Tornado in 1/32, and the Italeri DC-130, Monogram B-1, B-24 and B-29 in 48th, and the B-52 (plus X-15) in

1/72. Not to mention the 1/96 Revell Saturn V and 1/144 International Space Station.

Gulp!

I always preferred 1/72,but did larger scales if it interested me.But after 20 years and 1000+ models,I now only work in 1/72...and have started switching to

1/144 and smaller for larger planes, while giving away most of the 1/48...and at age 35 I might very well have time to build 2 or 3 thousand more! I need to win the lottery and buy a warehouse!

The next question is can Mrs Kranick see the pattern?

No, no... That's a valid concer.. -- I mean question... As long as I keep things organized in big, plain-jane boxes, nary an eyebrow gets raised. But, if Squadron messes up and sends a shipment to the house vice my office at work, well, that's where Mr. Shuey's concerns become well-founded! She's not used the Farberware as a weapon yet... ;-) At my most recent contest, I came home with an $8 Ford Galaxie and some putty. She rolled her eyes when I assured her I only spent $8 and responded the attic was filled with $8 models. If she only knew... Muwaaahaaaaahhh... (diabolical laugh mode on)
