Model Car World can probably provide an exact match. Scroll down to "STATE HIGHWAY PATROL & FLEET COLORS" for further info:
Black and olive drab, very glossy!

Thank you very much for your fast replies, I appreciate your help very much! :-)
Here is the website with more photos. The lighting definitely has an effect!
You sure? The photo makes it look like a gold colour which is what I would have suggested.

Look at this color from Tamiya...
It's always tricky at best to judge colors on a computer monitor. That's one of the reasons I suggested you contact Model Car World if you're interested in accuracy.
Al,
That website is a great resource. The only thing is that the police car paints seem to come in A.E. which I believe requires an airbrush. I don't have one yet; it's on my list though!
Thanks again.
LOL, Ron! Thank you again.
Just get a can of spray paint in the color that is closest and then spray it on an MD State Police car and see if it matches. The State Police won't mind. :-)
Who makes a late model 1/25 Crown Victoria model (if that is what you are modeling)? I have been checking and can't find one.
Bill,
I am using the Welly car model. The scale is advertised as 1/24 but it is more like 1/25 - 1/26. Most 1/24 decals work, however.

OK, Thanks. It is already built then. I was looking for a plastic model kit just to have more hands-on. This might do, though.
