Frank that kit is as rare as hens teeth and when they are for sale the price is sky high, I have been offered £250 GBP for mine, but I want to build it myself

Hi Ted, Thanks for confirming our suspicions about the scarcity of this kit. My Father-in-law, Frank, is quite an accomplished modeler, who has an incredible collection of completed kits and unmade kits waiting in line to be completed. I understand he has every kit from this manufacturer/series, except the ellusive Challenger Cement mixer.... :(

While visiting them over the holidays, I had a chance to show Frank some of the great sites and information available on-line about his hobby/passion. He is now determined to get a computer and start exploring the www. I will be sure I send him links to your web pages, I think he will enjoy them very much. If you ever are tempted to sell your kit, or if anyone has a lead on one, I could win the son-in-law of the year award! ;^)

Thanks for your input and for the links to your site.

Excuse me for coming out of the lurk mode. I was over at the local hobby store last Saturday and saw about a half dozen AMT/Ertl Cement Mixers. I don't remember the box name (I gave up on Cement Mixers last year when I retired 8~) ) but I do remember that the Radiator Fairing read "International" Is this what you're after or is there another?

The one that you have seen is the International Paystar mixer and it was 'recently' rereleased. The Challenger mixer is a Kenworth kit with a Challenger bowl on the back of it and as already stated, its as rare as hen's teeth and as expensive as gold.
