Would anyone happen to know if any plastic incarnation of WWII Japanese submarines are available in either 1/350 or 1/700? I've recently developed the craving for such things (in scale with my other 1/350 and 1/700 subjects...) A coarse search on google yield mostly resin kits.

Nichimo makes one in 1/200.
Think outside the box.
Check out the 1/200th Halinski OTSU I-19 Gata. Terrific model. Costs $6.00. You could scan it into your computer and rescale it down to 1/350th using Photoshop. Find it at

Halinski also has it in 1/100th if you like them bigger. He also has the same in U-boats and US Fleet subs, plus a few odd Polish WWII subs. Fly Models has a French Surcouf WWII submarine in 1/200th that looks very interesting.
