SW2005 SP5
Is there anyone else who has problems with measurement tool? Sometimes that tool just dies if used in assembly between sheetmetal part and weldment part. This appears always and only with weldment. I have had this problem since SW2005 SP0.1. Restarting SW helps sometimes for a minute sometimes for a day but nearly always when I use weldment I find this bug..
In this company I am not alone with this problem, there is few guys who has found this same.
What do you mean by "just dies"? I frequently get a blank output, and have to clearaselections and start over. Is that what you mean?
Clear selections don't help. Normally when I point some edge, face... it will be selected to a measure tool list and all result will be shown. When tool is dead I couldn't select anything. I may point everything but none of selections goes to list. Measure window is there but it is empty and remains empty until I restart Solidworks.
