Drawing Feature Manager Option

I'm running SolidWorks 2006 and everytime I click on a part in a drawing the property manager shows up on the left. I'm used to running



2004 and on that when you were in the drawing and clicked on a part the part was highlighted in the feature manager. Is there an option to change that in SW 2006? I've looked around for it but didn't have any luck. I would have thought the Auto-Show PropertyManager would have been the option but it didn't seem to do anything.

I tried to figure something out for you and the best I can find to make the FT show the part is to RMB on the part and choose Go To Feature (in Tree). If you leave the setting on for the Auto-show, it still will change the pane to the PM. But I find that a handy thing to have on, so I usually just manually click back to the FT if needed.

You could split the FM. This may help a little.
