Hand Drawn Look

Hi,

Is there a way to make a SolidWorks drawings "look" hand drawn? Like conceptual drawings...on napkins and such.

I used to use a program called Squiggle, years ago for ACAD. It had all sorts of options for "the look" of hand drawn drawings... It used an HPGL file to add the "effect".

If one is not available this would be a cool macro / add-in. I would do it but I am not a macro writer... yet! Anyone else want to try?

Looks like Squiggle still exist (15 day trial) if you do a search and the only requirement is that you output HPGL or HPGL/2 files or DXF files or DWG files.

NX3 has this. It can take an HLR view and make it look hand drawn.

Amethyst CADwizz has a feature called "Wizzle" which will generate hand-drawn effects from AutoCAD 2D drawings.

It's also a pretty good program for searching thru large directories of AutoCAD documents to find what your looking for quickly. I think it can be downloaded for a 30 day trial or something like that.
