low cost but fast video card recommendations for solidworks?

I'd like to second that request. I have a new Dell (XPS 730) with a lot of video memory, but the dual cards aren't playing well with SW 2007 (Student).

Well, fast, and stable enough at the time: I used to use midrange NVidia cards and use a prgm named SoftQuadro to kind of turn them into a Quadro card. Worked fine, but I do not know if SoftQuadro is still up to date. I do not do it at work anymore. But at home, I have a NVidia gaming card that's good enough for what I do there.

quadro 570/580 are about the cheapest workstation card you will find.. they retail for around 200 bucks..
