"N" key works in one direction but not the other - Again

Hello All,

Just a note that in SW2007 SP2.0 the N key, used to view normal to a plane or surface will not go anti-normal when hit a second time. This has been an on-again off-again problem that is now on-again. I'm loading up SP2.1 and will report back.

OK, Update:

It's not a problem with SP2.0, or for SP2.1 for that matter. I just loaded up SP2.1 and found the same issue. The problem is with the plane that I was trying to use the "N" key on.

Try this please:

Create a angled plane from a plane and a line and then try the "N" key thing.

Thanks, Muggs

Muggs, is your "N" key a keyboard shortcut that you set? I don't get a normal to in either SW2006 or SW07 sp2.1.

What puzzles me, though different than your situation, is that my left arrow key doesn't rotate models in sw07. It works great in SW06, and the right arrow, up and down arrows work fine, shift left works, but not just the left arrow.

Must be an enhancement. Diego

Yes Diego, the "N" is a keyboard shortcut, but I'll be honest i don't remember if I set it or if it was set that way originally.

My default "normal" was ctrl+8. But I'm not having the same problem as Muggs with it in SW 2006 SP 2.
