Don't forget Australia
Boston's average high temperature in January is 36 degrees, and the record high is a balmy 72. We can hope...
Check out the Copley hotel though, everything and anything you would want is right there - you never have to leave the place. Take a heated cab from the airport, we'll likely be on heated buses to the "special event", enjoy the heated indoor pool, sip warm toddies at the sports bar (or a COLD BREW for the real men), and by all means bring a warm coat.
Ask anyone who has been to one - this is the premier CAD event of the year. The technical sessions just get better every year, we have access to scores of SolidWorks employees (roundtables, sessions, and hallway conversations), and we always have a blast. And I'm sure the good folks in Chicago, Toronto, and points north of Wyoming will be happy to escape to the "warmer" climate.
And we should also be glad that they decided to hold just one show instead of the three they announced last year. One of the complaints regarding the separate conferences was not being able to renew friendships made at the conference. I am glad they listened and decided to go this route. Matt, Ryan, Bob, JK (I hope), Scott - looking forward to seeing you all again. Maybe we'll even get a bob z. sighting?
Check back to the SolidWorks World site in the next couple of weeks, we are updating the "justification" documents that will help your management see the enormous benefit of attending the conference. The documents will be posted soon.
