We just noticed that you don't have the option to display multiple configs in a BOM if you have it set to show Parts only. Is there any particular reason this should be so?

We had this problem...
If you define a configuration specific description for each configuration in a single part then the components show as different items in the BOM as it will default to the config specifc description and not the custom property description. This at least worked for an excel based BOM. Of course you wouldnt have to use the description property as the differential but probably a property that is displayed in the BOM.
