Upon upgrading to Solidworks 2003, some VB6 applications, on some computers, began producing the message:
***************** Run-time error '-2147417851 (80010105)':Automation error The server threw an exception
******************I've tried switching the VB project's refferance from Solidworks 2001 type library to 2003 and recompile - it didn't seem to help. I've tried disabling some Solid add-ins. It solved some of the problems, not all (same message appears, only less).
If you trace this, is it occurring when you first connect to SolidWorks using CreateObject or GetObject?
