Where do I find it in reg db

Need to find the following feature in reg db Tools->Options->Drawing-> Auto update drawings on load

Thought it would be under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2007\Drawings]

but that dosnt seem to be the case

could also use a link to compare 2 text files to eachother and then goto the differenreces, then I could find it in that way (also in case it is more than 1 string value that changes with this selection.

This is what you are looking for,

Auto regen override or Auto regen views

I think

Document compare

Microsoft word You will find this under the tools menu, then track changes - you should now find compare documents - it should be fairly clear from there (you need to have one of the documents open before you start, it then asks you which document you want to compare it with) need to be office 2002 and after

Nice and clear,

Compare two copies of a document

1.. Open the edited copy of the document. 2.. On the Tools menu, point to Track Changes, and then click Compare Documents. 3.. Open the original document. If neither the edited version nor the original version of the document has tracked changes, Word displays the edited copy of the document with revision marks indicating what changed from the original.

If either version of the document has tracked changes, Word displays a message box. Click Yes to compare the documents.

Note If you've used the Versions command on the File menu to save multiple versions of the document in one file, and you want to compare the current version with an earlier one, you must first save the earlier version as a separate file under a different name.
