There will be a story on ebay about How people rob and steal from you using verious tactic on ebay and how crocks use ebay to buy stuff and well sell stolen items ..

The story will be on this sunday evening I think on W-5 or one of there other shows... CTV.ca

I know ebay will not like the media doing stories on them which bring bad new public but it does happen and there are lots of new crimes being committed each day...Yep the 21 century is complicated with computer and such...but life does go on..

The largest RDC budd car fleet in canada (12 Cars) some in operation and some needing repair.

Sounds like more doom-and-gloom news stories to me. Sure, there are some bad apples on eBay.

But considering the number of users (10s of millions maybe?) and number of transactions completed, I think that the percentage of bad dealers would be really small.

I've been active on eBay for 6 years now (over 500 transactions) and I only ran into problem couple of times. Only one was not resolved (the seller dissapeared).

I don't think this is unreasonable or alarming.

You can make any institution (including church) look bad if you skew your report certain way. I think that is probably being done here.

And yes, any new technology (Internet) has good and bad points and good users and abusers. Not different from anything else.

But all of this is OT for this group...
