Before I start looking into writing my own driver, I'd like to check to see if anyone else has written a driver for Rail Driver's 'Desktop Train Cab Controller':

I'm guess that since this is basically a sort of 'game controller' sort of thing, that something like the hid driver should work (unless the hid driver will itself work as is).
