Tcl/Tk resistor calculator program

I've written a *cross-platform* resistor calculator program. Visit

This program needs Tcl/Tk, which is available for all modern O/Ss (UNIX/Linux, MS-Windows, MacOS).

I am unfamiliar with running scripts like this (Windows ME) - can you give me some help? I've downloaded your file and the latest version of tcl for both html and . . . otherwise. Now, what do I do?

You should have a file named tcl832.exe -- this is the binary installer for the MS-Windows version of Tcl/Tk 8.3.2 (last stable release available in binary form for MS-Windows from source forge, download from the URL:

. Once installed and my .tar.gz file is unpacked (current versions of WinZip understand .tar.gz files), you should be able to just double click on the Resistor.tcl file. So long as StdMenuBar.tcl is in a folder named 'Common' that is up and over from the directory that Resistor.tcl is in (which is how the files will be unpacked from the .tar.gz file), it should just run.

I built and uploaded a 'freewraped' version for MS-Windows. *Not Tested* under MS-Windows (I don't have a MS-Windows machine), but the Linux freewrap executable does work, so I am *presuming* that the MS-Windows version will also work.
