GO DUCKS!

I was lucky enough to be at the game as they beat Michigan 31-27. What a game!

I've heard of a Galloping Goose (as a matter of fact, I saw a HO scale one running earlier today) , but never a Duck. What railroad used Ducks?

Why, that would be Ohio's famous Duck Creek and Western, of course! Ran from Harmon to Hammond (Indiana) ;->

I dunno, but Wisconsin parks have been overrun by Canada geese. I call 'em two-legged cattle. Graze all day and s**t all over the place.

Kent,

I never heard of a railroad using ducks, but the Navy had them in WWII, amphibious vehicles, they were.

Wasn't Duck the 0-6-0 pannier tank of GWR fame, from Thomas the Tank Engine?

Chuckle.

Yeah, I'd always let the Cougars (mascot of and nickname for Washington State University) eat Ducks (mascot of and nickname for the University of Oregon).

As far as I'm concerned, anybody and everybody should feast upon the Ducks.

On Saturdays, in the fall in the northern hemisphere. The season runs roughly 7 September through 15 December.

We even encourage Beavers to eat Ducks. And Huskies to eat Ducks. And Wildcats to eat Ducks (well, not this year). And Bruins to eat Ducks. And Cardinals to eat Ducks. And Trojans to eat Ducks. And Golden Bears (which, oddly, are not Bruins) to eat Ducks. And Sun Devils to eat Ducks.

The northern hemisphere has fallen??? I didn't even know it was at war!!!!

You appear to have an oversupply of ducks, or perhaps an endangered species(?) I assume you model all this on your model railway - Humbrol "Signal Red" is a reasonable approximation of flowing blood - add some gloss black for blood that's begun to oxidise.

Now those are railways I've never heard of - where are they and what railways merged?
