was helping an older lady move from her house and found 2 boxes of trains 7 engines total. 4 of them stil boxed up and never open in the basement she was going to to trash them she said i could have them that they belonged to her dad when she was a kid she is 70 yrs old were can i find out what there value is

There are many books available, but for starters, others in this group may have some specifics if you provide more data.
How about providing some specifics on the items:
Manufacturer, unit/product description, item number, etc.
Is there any copyright date on any of the boxes?
