Nickel Plate Products Brass -Anyone got any?

Just collected an N.P.P. Southern Pacific MM-3 articulated and wondered if anyone else here has owned anything imported by N.P.P.? According to the Brown Book it was made in '83 -presumably in Korea- by a company named Daeki, whose work I'm not familiar with.

The level of detail is right up there with the earlier Japanese-made "crown" models; even the covers of the trailing-truck bearing boxes are hinged so you can open them to lube the bearings!

Was all the N.P.P. stuff this nicely detailed, or was this one Daeki model particularly outstanding?
