Nickel Plate Products Brass -Anyone got any?

Just collected an N.P.P. Southern Pacific MM-3 articulated and wondered if anyone else here has owned anything imported by N.P.P.? According to the
Brown Book it was made in '83 -presumably in Korea- by a company named Daeki, whose work I'm not familiar with.
The level of detail is right up there with the earlier Japanese-made "crown" models; even the covers of the trailing-truck bearing boxes are hinged so you can open them to lube the bearings!
Was all the N.P.P. stuff this nicely detailed, or was this one Daeki model particularly outstanding?
Pete
