Ping Phil Anderson

Phil,

There is a question on one of the Yahoo model rr groups concerning availability of Campbell kits and also the Weston, is it, brand of figures. I seem to recall something about you handling these or possibly taking over, or some such.

Could you please advise on the status of this so I can pass it along.

Thanks,

Hi CB&Q Guy,

The Campbell Scale Models company was taken over by Duncan Campbell (no relation to Leo Campbell) and moved to Central Point OR about a year and a half ago. They haven't returned my phone calls for several months, but I see an ad in MR's June issue. I have built about a hundred of the kits and use the Weston Figures because I had a working relationship with the old owners for several years.

Marion from the Valley Roundhouse is one of those persons that is treasured in the business.

```````` And treasured in the hobby, as well. He's the biggest supporter of model railroading I've ever known. Good friend and respectable, fair dealer, too.
I visit his shop every week to just sit and visit with him, and many times we travel to train events around the area. They truly broke the mold after they made Marion!
Thanks for the Campbell/Weston info as well.
Take care . . .
