Railmodeller 2.3 for the Mac...

Railmodeller 2.3 track planning/designing software for the Mac computer

has anyone tried it? Would they recommend it? And is the $30 upgrad form shareware to registered worth it?

Haven't tried it yet, but by the looks of it, if you want to save and/or print your layouts, you'll need to upgrade to the "registered version".

Just to clarify:

The RailModeller layout design software is distributed as shareware.

Your can download the demoversion for free at

has the same functionality as the full version, except printing and saving is disabled.

If you like the program and decide to use it, you can buy it for 30 US $.

Having bought the program once, you become a "registered user" and all future upgrades are free, there are no additional costs.
