You can't fault the guy for starting the thread. How many of us care about 100% of the threads here? If you can't add something positive or productive to the thread don't respond. That's really al it takes is a little discipline. When a guy gets on here and starts shooting off his mouth making accusations about starting rumors or whatever is when the threads turn nasty. I hate seeing that. It should be a friendlier hobby then this. I'll bet a lot of guys don't post because of the negative responses they might get.
Like many threads here it was a simple question that should have had a simple answer. It's when people start reading too much into the question and start trying to read the mind of the original poster and then start typing away mindlessly where the trouble starts.
Who cares? Well I kind of do. I like knowing what is going on in the hobby. It makes no sense to me that a company would destroy newer molds. If it were true, which I highly doubt, then it would be interesting to know about. I like those buildings and if the molds are gone I might try to find some of the kits on eBay or a train show.
By the way did we kind of conclude that it is nonsense that the molds were destroyed?
