Right, and all the flames calling you a mass murder are fine?! Hypocrite. Only cowards filter posts.

You act like a few pennies is going to break your ass. If you smoke that will cost you a lot more than this deal. How about if you use viagra. Come on, this is nothing in the overall scheme. And yes, if getting paid by the UP makes me a stooge I guess you are right
Jerry
Let me blunt. You are going to pay it rather you want to or not. Bitch bitch bitch, you will still pay it. And more roads will follow suit. So allow more in your budget or get a new hobby. Forty cents on a box car is not going to break the average family. Not even $5.00 on an engine. You need to budget better, these trains are cheap in todays world of $500 car payments, $1500 house payments and private schools. Get real

See Rathhole. I did not make a political statement. But you have to wise off. Proves once again that you are about 15 years old and now it all. I make more in a month than you do in four months so shove it up your butt. I hope you do model the UP cause it will do me good knowing you are paying out your ass. Jerry
Toilet cleaners must make alot then Steve.
See, Rathhole, there you go with some insane comment that makes more sense. Rest easy, unless you are making into six figures you aren't out earning me. Now pay up for those UP logos. That helps the company I am not suppose to support. Actually, you would be funny if you weren't so jealous.
Jerry or whomever.
Steve, please, you can dream up six figures but the only time you see that is with decimal points. I am sending all this crap to the CEO of UP so he can see what brain surgeons he has working for him. Please, try to make sense and stop lying. Just try.
Now it is getting late, the offices are closed, go clean the toilets.
Ratshole: pull your head out of your fundamental orifice. I am not Jerry; Jerry is a UP apologist, I despise UP.
I am not Epperson. I think Epperson (Spanky Wanky) is an even bigger a--hole than you, if that is possible.

You despise UP? Well, see, we have something in common Jer....er, Steve.
ROFLMAO!!!!
If my car needed $500 in repairs every month, would I keep it? Certainly not! Then why would I pay my money to the bank for a new one? It all spends the same.

MY parents were married 25 years before they bought their first new car. Not from lack of money, but frugality. My father's father died when my father was
- His mother raised 7 kids herself with no insurance, no benefits of any kind. Frugality was driven into my father from an early age. His mother was a Scot, also.
When my mom died, we each 3 inherited about $75,000. Not bad for a one-income factory worker.
I had a 2 year old car once. I had it two nights before somebody keyed it in my driveway. I decided then and there that to have something nice, you need to worry about somebody stealing it or vandalizing it. I don't like to worry about my possessions. Hence, I make do without a lot of things you seem to consider essential.
Now, why do I drive a '91 Chevy Caprice?
1) Because the engine sits the right way. I can get at the belts and both sets of spark plugs without standing on my head. (I do a lot of my own work because I can, not because I have to) 2) I've been driving RWD all my life. FWD is nice, but every doughnut I've ever done on snow while driving has been in a FWD vehicle. 3) It's comfortable. 4) I looked at compacts that get 25 mpg. My Caprice gets that, rides better, has more room. 5) It has shocks instead of struts. Can you say "I don't need a 4-wheel alignment every time I have my suspension replaced"? And my shocks cost half what your struts do. 6) Every guy I've seen on the freeway in a Beamer drives like an asshole and he's the only one on the road. That's MY experience. Your mileage may vary. 7) Mercedes are nice. I haven't liked them since about 1975, when the grilles started getting shorter. 8) With my income I could have been driving a Mercedes, but I have a Chevy that's paid for. My Mercedes, had I had one, would have been repo'd months ago.My earnings in 2002 were just a tad over $72,000 with the wife's income, for whatever that's worth. That's somewhere in the upper 30% of the population. Only 5% make over $100,000. I've since been downsized. And once I'm back, I'll keep on driving my Chevy. Or maybe a Buick Roadmonster Wagon. Why? Because I choose to, not because I have to.
Get off your high horse before God knocks you off it. He has a way of humbling people, I've learned. Not that I'm really ultra-religious or anything. I just believe what goes around comes around. Karma.
I have enough and I am content.

I agree with Jay.
On the other hand, why worry about Jerry? An ego that large will implode upon itself eventually.
I remember in "Little Town on the Prairie" when Nellie Olesen asked Mrs. Ingalls why she called the treat she served for Laura's birthday "vanity cakes". Ma answered, "They're like vanity. All puffed up with nothing inside."
As for Rathburne's assumption that Jerry is Steve Caple, I disagree vehemently. Steve has never insulted me, to my memory.

Jay, This reminds me of the story of the guy in a Mercedes who had a fender bender with a farmer. The guy in the Mercedes jumps out and yells at the farmer "look what you did to my $60,000 car. The framer goes "I know. Thank goodness it didn't hurt my $90,000 tractor." I train and sell polo horses and teach people to play polo. Interestingly very few of the people who can afford to buy the horses they need to play and can sponsor teams drive Mercedes or BMW's rich or not. Contrary to popular belief many players are not wealthy and have ordinary jobs. Plenty of folks who don't have the money to play and sit on the sidelines in polo jerseys drive those Mrec's or BMW's though. Now if they would only sell the car and get a used F-150 they would have enough money to buy a couple of horses to get started. Bruce
population.
Two words, I reckon. Yuppy wanker.
We accept your lack of success. Jerry
I was going to say "stuffed shirt", since I was the object of that original remark, "your status is somewhat less others".
I remember how one of Milwaukee's richest ladies called up the flower shop where my wife worked, who got her call. It was obvious she always had "her people" handle this stuff, because she didn't even know what she ordered. It was just "send me what I always get". This was the first time my wife had dealt with her. While poring through the computer for her past orders, the woman burst out, "Oh God! Isn't there anyone COMPETENT there I can speak to?" I guess "good breeding" doesn't always mean "good manners". If she wasn't such a large account, I'm sure my wife would have slammed the phone down on her. So I always just say Mrs. U*****n is a bitch to speak to my wife like that. Sorry for the long-winded parable.
