Address on a birth certificate.

A birth certificate of a baby, adopted at birth (1944), has no information about the father. The place of birth is given as the local hospital and added is the address of the mother. This address turns out to be the address of the local District Nurse.

The now elderly locals in the village concerned clearly remember the District Nurse but none can remember a young pregnant (possibly Irish) girl living with her.

The question is: How accurate would one expect the address of the

*mother* to be on the certificate issued at the time and under the circumstances given?
