I recently aquired a 5 inch Lion water pump it's missing its loose pulley, I know its a long shot but does anyone have one they want to part with or a similar pulley that would suffice?. The pulley measures 16inches across and 4 inches wide, pics of the pump can be found at

Actually the pump was made by Joseph Evans, they just used the Lion as their trademark in the same was that Lee-Howl used the little flag. My Amanco No.3 had both pulleys missing, I ended up by finding a suitable 'fast' pulley and making a spacer on the shaft tp take up the space of the missing loose pulley :-)

I did'nt know anything about the makers only that they were made local. i'll keep looking for a pulley but i'll have to do something along the same lines to make it useable if nothing turns up. Cheers for the info and to the people who have emailed off group.
