on the one hand they claim to be a specialist, then they also claim they know nothing about the internal condition.....

so let me see, here we have a specialist who could very easily do a few simple tests, eg torque required to crank it over, compression test, plug condition etc, all of which would take maybe an hour, and would probably quadruple the price people would be prepared to pay sight unseen.

basically they are trying to talk up a lump of scrap metal, 1700 is too much, 17k is lunatic.
