One of the best Aircraft ever designed, to see one barrel rolled was a sight to behold. Just a pity that the room in the cockpit was not much if not smaller.

It's a shame that this one is so badly corroded, there is/was an item on it somewhere on the BBC news website. Apparently other museums and owners of airframes have had a look but it was pretty bad through standing out in the UK weather.

I think they said this was one of the Falklands bombers.

Now that would really fix the neighbours, back end carefully positioned, I could BBQ their cat and probably blow their humble abode half a mile across the fields to boot! Teach them to complain about me test running a Petter M!

I know it's not the ideal season, but anyone for a barbie?

would fix the neighbours too, without blocking access to your bench!

I gather it's soon to arrive at Internal Fire, or Internal Fry as it might become known with this running :-).

Unfortunately I don't have broadband yet. I'll just have to go to Wales to see it run :(.

I must say, it looks like the perfect weapon - it's small enough to rally so when I've finished with the cat, I could watch the safety steward at our local engine club soil his underwear whilst trying to work out which way I should point it :) - sorry, slight 'In joke' for our club but I guess we've all come across them!

Perhaps this sister aircraft is more worthy of support and it won't cost you over £7.5m.

For interesting stuff, wait for the pics of the matched pair of Rolls Royce Avons with power turbine we are hoping to move shortly. In theory they are runnable but not in the short term unfortunately.

We have even been offered an industrial Olympus :-)
