George Hendry suggested something that worked fine, and perhaps I should have thought about earlier, changing the newsfeed to news.btopenworld.com. This works OK, and a couple of posts turned up that were not on the original easynet-sourced newsgroup, including one from Arthur Griffin...
Roger Glover noted that BTOpenworld Direct customers don't have access to the news feed, somrthing to bear in mind if you are one of they...
