Petter W1

Gentlemen,

Those of you who have read Peter Forbes recent postings will know of the engines we collected last weekend, I am now the owner of a, modified for test work, Petter W1. It looks to me like the bottom half of a Petter A(1) but with a barrel and head, not hopper, for water cooling. The reason I ask is that I'm wondering if there is any difference from an air cooled engine as I will acquire one to obtain the few parts missing. My Idea eventually is to reconnect it to a Dynamometer that I now have.

Martin P

I have a lot of the missing W1 bits in the boxes of spares, such as carb (2 pces) manifold etc., and also have a manual of my own which you are welcome to copy.

How about a picture Martin? I have a couple of Petter A types which are redundant to my requirements so some parts might be suitable. Fred

will organise picture tommorrow
