rallying 2008

Feb 10, 2008 4 Replies

Gentlemen,

I think I'm going to give up this rallying lark, a local rally I have organised the engines at for the last five years have decided they don't want us, I don't appear to be getting the rally forms for other events so sod it I will play with my car instead.

Which one ? (rally, not car)

This year so far I've had unsolicited entry forms from Astle Park, the club that runs Enstone and another I can't immediately recall.

Have you upset them, Martin? :o))

Teach a child to be polite and courteous and you create an adult that can't merge a car into faster traffic.

Just don't drive it into London after October or it'll cost you £25!

Kim,

I don't upset anybody (intentionally), no space for us apparently. As a good friend pointed out tonight stationary engines are always first to go when the rally is up and coming and another sheckle can be earned at the expense of others. Any way my run to Edinburgh allowed me to pick up 10 ft of 1/8 in Key steel and some missing rubbers for the bonnet and air filter on my Rover and a much needed angle drive from the gearbox for the speedo so I'm happy again, it helps to know how fast you are going :-))
