The other feature of using the post office is that they talk to the person behind the counter, sometimes for quite a while. This feature is much liked by lonely elderly people, and of course is lost with the direct transfer.

That's the way it is in this progressive country. Over-60s also enjoy
10% discount on train fares, 5% off once a month at a department store chain, and 15% off non-sale items every Tuesday st a pharmacy chain. Over 65, you also get $1 off a haircut (if you're lucky enough to have any hair).Join the Discussion
