It would seem Bachmann have 'recovered' their What's New for 2004 page from their website for some reason?
Because it was wrong and included a number of 2003 items that had been released and ignored a large number of 2004 items, wagons in particular. The full range is quoted in the price list, which er has also disappeared but was
AIUI they spent 99.999E percent of their life on the East Coast main line, the other regions had their own Pullmans (or didn't want them), so although they might have been used on other Pullman services they would have been along the ECML.
Presumably on 'standard' turnouts. do purpose built switch / crossing formations still use wood or are concrete bearers cast to special dimensions / rail fixings IYSWIM ?
Do you think some one boobed in putting the list up too early?

Most likely, which is why it's always a good idea to take a quick peek at websites you are interested in just in case that sort of thing happens.
Thank you.

Some of this information was supplied by Bachmann last year when certain knowledgeable persons thought it referred more to the Bachmann/Farish stable.
Colin Meredith.
Yes, but not cetain whether it was just a simple case of posting too earlier as the list of Collett coaches and Mk2 / Mk2a's seems screwed up. I would suggest that 39360-39362 are Mk2a, 39370/1 description is not that of a BSO, 39381 is a Mk2, and some of the Colletts are brake vehicles :-

I remember riding the Liverpool Pullman in either 1967 or 1969. Only First Class was Pullman, Second was regular price. No idea what type of coaches. The only times I rode Pullman class were on The Brighton Belle in 1961 and the Yorkshire Pullman from Wakefield to Kings X in 1962.
Yup, the air-conditioned Mk2s that came along about 6 years before "proper" air-conditioned Mk2s! Most -if not all - of the Mk2 Pullmans survive in use today as charter stock.

Learn a bit about newsgroups before you really piss someone off and probably get your own account cancelled ! Have a read of this site
Thank you for your wisdom jerry.

I think I'd rather have binaries. A polite explanation would have sufficed.
Couldnt of said it better myself Adrian.
What I meant is a copy and paste of the pdf in text like what mike did.
