I went to the Dumfries MRE (at the Ice Bowl ) organised by Kyle Model Railway Club today and found it to be best sign-posted event I've ever seen !
Miles of large yellow signposts strapped to signposts and lamposts! Absolutely hassle-free.
on the modeling front, there were about 45-50 stands with some fantastic layouts!
Well worth a visit if you're in the area on Sunday.

Just in case you think he's joking I went too, excellent friendly meat, went to the last one - same experience. The only downer is the appalling food and drink on offer, lives up to the Scots unhealthy food reputation.

I have to admit we didn't sample the delights of Ice Bowl Cafe.......
We went to a resturant 'Hetheringtons' (I believe that was the name) Which was fabulous.
Flicking through the events in RM the next exhibition seems to be the Pollockshaws 12th , 13th of June and Perth 26th and 27th June. (and the Bo'ness swapmeet on the 6th)
