Long time ago in the last century as a child I remember travelling from Glasgow to Helensburgh on Blue BR Electric trains (1968 1975). EMU I have a train set and wondering if some expert out there could tell me model of EMU this is, and its availability to run on a HO track. and is it available new or used

This would be a Class 303 EMU, usually known as a Glasgow Blue Train.
There has never been a ready to run model, but DC Kits make a kit in 'OO'.

On a point of pedantry, it could also have been a 311 unit - they are almost identical to the 303s, except were newer, and had uprated traction motors, and were never in caley blue. Also, none were refurbished, and were withdrawn before the older 303s.

Anbrico (I think) made ready-to-run "Blue Trains" in the mid-60s, but they were made to order in small batches rather than mass-produced jobs.
