Hi John,
The most successful 'repair' is to get a replacement wheel set.
John.
I had the same problem, it was a broken axle. I contacted Bachmans and they supplied me with a replacement at very reasonable cost.
It is very easy to fit (a push fit). I would definitely recommend this before replacing the whole wheelset.

A cheaper solution is give it some wellie. Those of us with delicate hands need to think about some force. Is the back to back way out ?

Bachmann have offered to do the job for me so problem solved. Many thanks for replies. To answer one query, back to back is not measurable as the wheels 'wobble' on the axle!!
Well yes, but you can either take the centre point of the wobble or measure at the axle. Was thinking if they were about right then suggests something wrong with the axle, if not then a good push might help. Does anyone think a spot of superglue would be wrong ?
