Very annoying - running out of cash - now why should I not sell my model railway stuff?
Even though I'd rather not.
But 20 decent Diesels, 9 Decent steam, about 100 coaches and 200 wagons is tempting to sell
Not to mention my 4 3 car DMUs

One reason is you won't get anything like what you think they're worth, especially if it's a forced sale. Many others will be in the same situation as you so you will be competing with them for the few buyers still around. I'm holding off from buying anything myself (or investing for that matter) due to the current uncertain economic situation.
