Second quarter of 2007 according to Hornby's catalogue, so I guess it's late.
John.
That's what I figure too. Thanks for the reply John.
Rob.
To Hornby, Second quarter of 2007 must mean a half of 2007 ie 1003.5, so they're expecting them on October the 3rd at around 5 o'clock :-)
Alan
At least it is still 2007 though unlike other companies who think this year is anytime in the next three years. Just as well we don't give the Olympics to certain companies.

If you're referring to Bachmann they have always stated that the items appearing in their latest catalogue are planned for realease in the next couple of years.
John.
In that case I wouldn't have thought that it fulfilled the definition of the word catalogue.
Kevin
Why is it called a catalogue anyway when there are no cats in it?

I really have no idea, although both the Bachmann and Hornby catalogues announce their future plans.
John.
But if Hornby announce something in the second quarter 2007 and miss it they are late. I suppose if Hornby said anytime in the next two years then they wouldn't have fallen foul of trades descriptions and John Turner or there again probably not.

[Middle English cathaloge, list, register, from Old French catalogue, from Late Latin catalogus, from Greek katalogos, from katalegein, to list : kata-, down, off; see cata- + legein, to count; see leg- in Indo-European roots.]

They've not fallen foul of me, I just said they were late based on their own estimation of delivery.
John.
Couldnt find that in the 2005 or 2006 ones. but did find in 2005 "Three new models planned for 2005".
Havent got the 2007 one yet though.
Cheers, Simon
Ah, yes, but does it actually say "planned for release in 2005" or does it mean they will spend 2005 planning them, for release in 2006 or 2007? ;-)
Really, I thought it was any excuse for a dig at Hornby. Still they might do better to take a leaf out of Bachmann's book and not actually promise anything.

You can put it in their litter tray when you've finished with it? I suppose the log is because the paper is made from trees.
