Can anyone tell me if a kit is available for a BR Railbus?

used to have a motorising kit but it doesn't seem to be on the website. They do have an AC Cars body kit and r-t-r chassis (£77.50), or built and painted for £130.

You can also adapt the Hornby pacer chassis.

Shurely shome mishtake? They're all OO, the OP was after O ;)

Oops, I overlooked the header. It would have been a good idea to put it in the message body.

I have not found one in my search with most of the kit manufacturs, but you could scale the Dapol one up iff you fancy a bit of scratch building, the railbus is a bit early for me.

From Google - Railway Modeller, March 1986, p. 95 had an article on building a freelance railbus in 7mm scale (with drawings at 4mm scale).

Yes I should have done, sorry

I don't fancy the scratchbuilding!

Ralf

I thing there was an article in model Rail some months back, they normally say what kits are available in which scale, I can not remember which issue.

'Twas 15 Apr 2004 09:31:10 -0700, when snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.co.uk (Ralf Edge) decided to declare:

Model Rail Nov 2002. Mention of one kit in 7mm produced in 1998 by CCW ( originally by Red Rose in 1992) , modelling the AC cars prototype, made from pre-formed brass.

Has anyone got any contact details? Assuming CCW are still in existance?
