Knights Rail Services, in association with The Railway Magazine, are holding an open weekend at the former BR Eastleigh Works, to mark the centenary of the plant in the Hampshire town. Aiming to be one of the biggest railway events on the 2009 calendar, and supported by both railway enthusiasts and the local community, together with the valued support of many leading rail industry companies, the Eastleigh Centenary Open Weekend's primary aim is to raise money for a number of local and national charities.
