Does anyone know how I can get the bodyshell off a Hornby Percy electric loco? I wish to install a DCC chip but cannot fathom how the shell comes off.

My recollection is that it simply snaps off. Can't remember if you want to start at the front or back, though. Those goofy wire ears sticking out of the boiler are the ends of the clip that holds the motor in, and have nothing to do with holding the body shell on.
DCC is a simple installation. Percy is much tamed by DCC. And being able to set the maximum speed for 100% throttle is great for the younger drivers :-)
